What Happens After Account Deletion, and How Can I Fix Role-Related Issues?
If you’ve asked the Legends of Learning team to delete your account, you might be wondering what happens next—especially if you try to log back in or notice issues with your user role. Below is a quick guide to what you can expect and how to resolve common role-related problems.
What Happens If I Try to Log in After Requesting to Delete my Account?
Once your account has been deleted, trying to log in with the same username and password may result in one of these outcomes:
You’ll see a “user not found” message, or
You’ll be prompted to create a new account.
This behavior ensures that previously deleted accounts cannot be reactivated. If you’d like to continue using Legends of Learning, just follow the on-screen steps to sign up for a new account.
How to Fix Role-Related Issues After Deletion
In some cases, even after Support confirms that your account (such as a teacher account) has been deleted, you might still see an old role or outdated information. Don’t worry—this is usually easy to fix:
Log out of your current session.
Log back in to refresh your account status.
If you’re changing roles (for example, signing up as a Student), visit the correct sign-up page and follow the steps to create your new account.
This helps clear any leftover information and ensures your new account is set up correctly with the role you want.
