Legends of Learning's School Usage Report allows school administrators to view data around usage of Legends of Learning. This data is based on activity in Learning Universe assignments and/or Awakening.
Data can be accessed by clicking Analytics in the left-navigation menu, then selecting School Usage. Or, select School Usage from the Home page of your School Admin account.
Once the report loads, use the filters provided to view custom data, if needed. The report will reload automatically. The available filters include:
Schools - If assigned to more than one school, select the school(s) for which you want to view data.
Date - Defaults to July 1 through today
Paid Status - Premium schools/teachers (those with a license), Basic (those without a license) schools/teachers, and/or Student-Driven (Awakening) activity.
Subject Area - Math, Science, and/or Analogies
Teacher Grade Levels - K-9
Additionally, you can use the filter to the right to select specific schools, if needed. Be sure to click Apply Changes to reload the report with your filters enabled.
The Summary Metrics data provides you with a summary of the total number of Active Teachers, Active Students, Total Assignments Played, Mini-games Played, Playtime, and Questions Answered.
The Student Count by # Completed Gameplays and Videos graph breaks down student usage by grade level bands (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8). Hover your mouse over each section of the graph to see a detailed report of each section.
Per research conducted by WestEd, students who complete 25+ activities per school year demonstrate significant gains on end of year testing. Students who complete 50+ activities demonstrate even further gains.
This graph will assist with tracking progress toward hitting the 25+ activities across your school(s).
The next section of the reports showcases usage of Legends of Learning month over month. The following usage metrics are provided:
Total Play Time - How many hours students have engaged in Legends of Learning. The graph will default to show usage data Teacher Assignments, District Assignments, and Awakening free play. You can unselect any of the Modes to see Playtime data for one specific category.
Total Active Students - Total number of students within your school(s) who have used utilized the Legends of Learning platform per month.
Mini-games Played - Total number of games students have engaged in per month.
Questions Answered - Total number of questions that have been answered by students per month.
Total Assignments Played - Total number of assignments that students have started per month.
Total Active Teachers - Total number of teachers who have actively used Legends per month.
The tables that follow will highlight usage data for each school, teacher, and student in your school(s) that is utilizing Legends of Learning. The tables will indicate important metrics such as:
Active Teachers - The number of teachers at the school that have students actively utilizing Legends of Learning.
Active Students - The number of students that are actively utilizing Legends of Learning per school/teacher.
Gameplays & Videos - The total number of gameplays and videos that students have completed per school/teacher/student.
Gameplays & Videos Per Active Student - The median number of gameplays and videos that each student has completed per school/teacher/student.
Assignments - The total number of assignments that students have started per school/teacher.
Playtime (hrs) - The total number of hours that students have engaged in Legends of Learning per school/teacher.
Questions Answered - The total number of questions that students have answered in Legends of Learning per school/teacher.

NOTE: The downloads will contain all data available based on filters selected at the top of the report. The file can then be filtered to view data for specific teachers and/or schools.
