You can track both usage and performance data for Math Basecamp within your School Admin account.
Both types of data can be accessed by clicking Analytics then Math Basecamp in the left-navigation menu. Or by selecting Math Basecamp from your Home page.
Filters
Once the report loads, use the grade-level and/or date filter to set custom ranges, if needed. The report will reload automatically.
NOTE: Data on this report is updated nightly. Usage and performance from today will reflect on tomorrow's report.
Additionally, you can use the school and teacher filters to view data for specific schools and/or teachers. Be sure to click Apply school & teachers to save these filters and reload the data.
Summary Metrics and Charts
The Summary Metrics data provides you with a summary of the total number of Active Schools, Active Teachers, Active Students, Average Facts Mastered Per Student, Student Sessions, Facts Answered, and the overall Mastery Percentage.
For this and all other charts, click on Definitions for more information about specific metrics.
The Mastery Growth chart provides the growth students have made since the start of the report period through the end date. Growth is calculated by comparing the number of facts mastered in the initial assessment to the total number of current facts mastered.
The Student Count by Number of Sessions graph breaks down student usage by the number of sessions completed.
NOTE: Research conducted through McREL demonstrates that students begin making significant gains on standard-based assessments after 24 sessions. This growth increases again significantly after 30 sessions.
This graph will assist with tracking progress toward hitting the 24+ session across the district. For this and all other charts, you can click Download to save the images as a .png or to download the raw numbers as a .csv.
The Monthly Totals graphs visually display the number of facts mastered, active teachers and students, number of sessions, and facts answered for each month of your report range.
Data Tables
The tables that follow will highlight usage data for each school, teacher, and student in your scope that is utilizing Math Basecamp. They can be sorted by ascending/descending order for any column. The tables will indicate important metrics such as:
Active Students - The number of students actively utilizing Math Basecamp.
Active Teachers - The number of teachers at the school that have students actively utilizing Math Basecamp.
Total Student Sessions - The total number of Math Basecamp sessions students started.
Sessions per Active Student - The average number of Math Basecamp sessions per active student.
Total Facts Mastered - The total number of facts students have demonstrated mastery on in Math Basecamp.
Median Growth % per Student - The median percent growth from number of initial facts mastered to number of current facts mastered.
Facts Mastered per Student - The average number of facts mastered per active student.
Growth % - The percent increase from the facts a student had mastered at their initial assessment to the facts they have mastered now.
