Written by Jessica Moyer

You can track both usage and performance data for Math Basecamp within your School Admin account.

Both types of data can be accessed by clicking Analytics then Math Basecamp in the left-navigation menu. Or by selecting Math Basecamp from your Home page.

Once the report loads, use the grade-level and/or date filter to set custom ranges, if needed. The report will reload automatically.

NOTE: Data on this report is updated nightly. Usage and performance from today will reflect on tomorrow's report.

Additionally, you can use the school filter to view data for specific schools that are assigned to you. Be sure to click Apply Changes to reload the report with your school filter enabled.

NOTE: Be sure to use the date and grade filters, if needed, BEFORE selecting schools.

The Mastery Growth chart provides the growth students have made since the start of the report period through the end date. Growth is calculated by comparing the number of facts mastered in the initial assessment to the total number of current facts mastered.

The Student Count by Number of Sessions graph breaks down student usage by grade level bands (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8). Hover your mouse over each section of the graph to see a detailed report of each section.

NOTE: Research conducted through McREL demonstrates that students begin making significant gains on standard-based assessments after 24 sessions. This growth increases again significantly after 30 sessions.

The next section highlights important usage metrics across your school(s) as cumulative totals across your selected date range.

The Monthly Totals graphs visually display the number of facts mastered, active teachers and students, number of sessions, and facts answered for each month of your report range.

The following tables break down the Usage and Growth at the School, Teacher, and Student levels.

NOTE: You can sort data in the tables and remove columns using the drop-down arrow in each column header.

To download the data in these tables, use the download buttons located at the top of the page. There is one download button per table on the report.

NOTE: The downloads will contain all data available based on the Teacher Grade Level and Date filters selected. The file can then be filtered to view data for specific teachers and/or schools.
