Some schools and districts block access to specific websites or require that allowable websites be "whitelisted."
If you're having trouble accessing Legends of Learning, the following instructions should help your IT team resolve the issue:
Our services use standard HTTP requests as well as communicate over websockets.
If you are using path-based filtering, the following paths need to have websockets enabled:
*.gs.legendsoflearning.com/client_bridge
*.legendsoflearning.com/socket
*.legendsoflearning.com/socket/teacher-subscription
*.legendsoflearning.com/socket/graphql/play
In addition, the following Legends of Learning domains must be unblocked in order for the site to run properly for teachers and students:
The following domains are not required, but are suggested to allow for better site performance, customer service, and troubleshooting if a problem arises:
*.intercom.io
static.intercomassets.com
js.intercomcdn.com
www.google-analytics.com
tag.getdrip.com
www.googletagmanager.com
The asterisk (*) in domain names listed above indicates that all subdomains should be unblocked for the listed domain. For example, www.legendsoflearning.com is a subdomain of legendsoflearning.com.
If the instructions above don't resolve your issue, please contact us; we'll be happy to work directly with your IT team. If you don't know your IT contact, we'll work with your school or district to find the right person.
