Legends of Learning does not offer a traditional free trial for premium plans. However, teachers can create a free account and access a wide range of core features, including standards-aligned games, assignments, and classroom gameplay, allowing them to meaningfully explore the platform before upgrading.

Can I try Legends of Learning before purchasing?

Yes. The Basic Teacher account is free and provides access to a large portion of the platform’s core functionality.

With a free account, teachers can:

  • Assign standards-aligned games in Math, Science, and US History

  • Create and manage classroom assignments

  • Experience student gameplay and engagement firsthand

  • Explore how the platform fits into their instruction

This allows teachers to evaluate the platform in a real classroom setting before considering a paid plan.

What additional features are included in paid plans?

Premium plans unlock additional capabilities, including:

  • Unlimited assignments

  • Advanced reporting and data insights

  • Lesson plans and instructional resources

  • Expanded classroom and administrative tools

These features are designed for deeper classroom use and school or district-wide implementation.

What if I want to try Premium features?

While there is no formal trial, teachers have a few options:

1. Purchase with a 30-day refund policy

Teachers can purchase a Premium Classroom license and request a full refund within 30 days if it does not meet their needs.

2. DonorsChoose funding

Teachers can request a license through DonorsChoose (via AKJ Education).

Are pilots available?

Standard pilot programs are not typically offered for individual teachers.

Schools and districts interested in larger implementations can contact the team to explore available options.
