Legends of Learning's District Admin Console allows district administrators to view cumulative data around usage and performance in Legends of Learning. This data is based on activity in Learning Universe assignments and/or Awakening.

In this article, you will see how to find the following:

Overall District Usage Data

After logging into the District Admin Console, you will automatically be placed within the Usage Report, which will display the overall Usage Data for your district starting from August 1st of the current school year.

The Usage Report page will allow you to effortlessly view and compare usage data for your entire district.

The data displayed first provides you with a summary of the total number of Active Teachers, Active Students, Total Assignments Played, Mini-games Played, Playtime, and Questions Answered.

Student Count by # Completed Gameplays and Videos

The Student Count by # Completed Gameplays and Videos stacked bar chart will showcase the number of students across the district who have completed a certain number of mini-games and videos in Legends of Learning.

Per research conducted by WestEd, students who complete 25+ activities per school year demonstrate significant gains on end of year testing. Students who complete 50+ activities demonstrate even further gains.

This graph will assist with tracking progress toward hitting the 25+ activities across the district.

Month Over Month Usage Metrics

The next section of the reports showcases district-wide usage of Legends of Learning month over month. The following usage metrics are provided:

  • Total Play Time - This graph indicates how many hours students have engaged in Legends of Learning. The graph will default to show usage data for both Learning Universe and Awakening. You can unselect any of the Modes to see Playtime data for one specific category.

  • Total Active Students - This graph will display the total number of students within your district who have used utilized the Legends of Learning platform per month.

Filtering Data For Usage Reports

NOTES:

  • The date range filters currently only apply to the Month over Month bar graphs. We are working on applying the date filters to all other tables.

  • The filter is in monthly increments, and the the report will not return results if you select a range more granular than 1st of a month to 1st of another month.

To filter the Usage Report data, navigate to the right of the console to the Filters section. The Filters section allows you to narrow down data totals by Month, School, Subject Area, and Grade Level.

All Schools and Subject areas will be displayed by default. You can unselect any school or subject area you do not wish to see data for, and then select the Apply button. You can always undo any filters you have set by selecting the Reset option.
