In the Establish phase of Math Basecamp, the platform measures how long it takes students to enter answers compared to their typing speed.
Research indicates a range of time (in seconds) that a student should answer a math fact in order for the fact to be considered mastered. Legends of Learning has chosen a time within that research-based range as our indication of mastery.
