Teachers occasionally report problems such as games failing to load, freezing during play, crashing and reloading, or general site access issues.

If you’re experiencing any of these issues, here are some steps you can take to solve them:

Restart the Device

We recommend you or your students try a forced restart. Have students shut down their devices completely by holding down the Power button until the device shuts down, then press the Power button again to reboot the device.

Check Your Browser

Make sure you and your students are using either Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. Check that the browser is fully up to date. We cannot guarantee that any other browsers will be sufficient for playing our games.

Check Your Device

If you or your students are using a Chromebook, check that the specific Chromebook model has at least 4GB RAM, with an Intel Celeron or Core processor. Chromebooks using MediaTek (or other) processors that are not Intel Celeron or Core processors are not compatible.

NOTE: Math Basecamp is Not iPad compatible.

Still Having Issues?

  1. Ensure that students are going to http://play.legendsoflearning.com directly and not clicking a link that shows in their browser history.

  2. Close all background apps and excess browser tabs.

  3. Ensure your browser is up to date. No matter which browser you’re using, here’s a handy guide.

  4. Clear your browser’s cache. Here’s another handy guide.

  5. Test your Internet speed here. If your download speed is less than 10 Mbps, your network connection is likely too slow to run games.

  6. For WebGL errors that pop up, check your Chrome settings to ensure hardware acceleration is turned on. Here's info on how to check:

7. Make sure the LoL site is whitelisted on your school’s network. Read this Hall of Knowledge article for information on whitelisting.

If you’ve taken all these steps and are still having trouble, you can summon the LoL heroes at support@legendsoflearning.com.
