NOTE: District assignments are only available to partners with a district-level license. District Administrators can log in here. If you have a district-level license and need access to your District Admin Console, please contact us at support@legendsoflearning.com.

When creating district assignments, you can add a summative assessment to track student performance across all standards included in the assignment set.

After adding assignments to your assignment set, use the + Add Summative Assessment button.

Note: You can only search for questions aligned to one standard at a time. The following steps need to be repeated for each standard you want to include in your summative assessment.

In the Topics field, either type a keyword/standard or scroll through the list to select a standard for your summative assessment.

Use the Main Concepts filter to narrow down your search to specific skills that are taught within your selected standard.

If you choose multiple Main Concepts you can use the AND/OR toggle to streamline your search.

Use the DOK (Depth of Knowledge) filter to adjust the rigor of the questions.

Use the Type filter to choose the style of questions you want students to engage with. Please note that not all question types are available for each standard.

When looking through the question bank, you can use the arrows to preview the question in it's entirety.

Add questions to your assessment by selecting the check mark in the upper-right corner. This will move the question into the box on the right.

The Random Order toggle allows you to choose if students should all work through the questions in the same order or a varied order.

If you do not set your questions to a random order, you can use the gray dots on the left of your selected questions to drag and drop them into your preferred order.

The Stats field allows you to track the standard, main concepts, and rigor of all questions in your assessment.

Once you are done creating your assessment, select the Save This button in the bottom-right corner.

Note: If you don't see a new assignment, assessment, or activity in your assignment set after adding, simply refresh your page. All progress and edits will be saved and the new item should show.

If you need to make edits to your assessment, click on the pencil icon. Please note that you cannot make edits to your summative assessments once the assignment set has been published.

Once your assignment set has been published you can monitor student progress on the summative assessment! Teachers can also view their students' performance from within their teacher accounts.
