NOTE: District assignments are only available to partners with a district-level license. District Administrators can log in here. If you have a district-level license and need access to your District Admin Console, please contact us at support@legendsoflearning.com.

When you are creating your own district assignments, you can include curated assessments to act as a formative assessment for your lesson.

After adding games and/or videos to your assignment, use the + button to add a curated assessment.

Next, select the option to Add Curated Assessment.

In the Topics field, either type a keyword/standard or scroll through the list to select the standard for your curated assessment.

Use the Main Concepts filter to narrow down your search to specific skills that are taught within your selected standard.

If you choose multiple Main Concepts you can use the And/Or toggle to streamline your search.

The DOK (Depth of Knowledge) filter allows you to adjust the rigor of the questions provided.

The Type filter allows you to choose the style of questions you want students to engage with. Please note that not all question types are available for each standard.

When looking through the available questions, you can use the arrows to preview the question in it's entirety.

Add questions to your assessment by selecting the check mark in the upper-right corner of each question. This will move the question into the box on the right.

The Random Order toggle will allow you to choose if students should all work through the questions in the same order, or if students should receive questions in a varied order.

If you do not set your questions to a random order, you can use the gray dots on the left of your selected questions to drag and drop them into your preferred order.

The Stats field allows you to easily track the standard, main concepts, and rigor of the questions added to your assessment.

Once you are done creating your assessment, select the Save This button in the bottom-right corner.

Note: If you don't see a new assignment, assessment, or activity in your assignment set after adding, simply refresh your page. All progress and edits will be saved and the new item should show.

If you need to make edits to your assessment, click on the assessment icon with your assignment.

Then, click the pencil icon to reopen the curated assessment builder.

Please note that you cannot make edits to your curated assessments once the assignment set has been published.

Teachers will be able to view student data on curated assessments from their accounts! Curated assessment data is not reported at the district admin level.
