Select instructional games within Learning Universe offer printable, game-aligned worksheets. These ready-to-use materials provide structured practice opportunities that are designed to reinforce the concepts students practice during gameplay.

Each worksheet includes teacher answer keys and can be printed in one of three levels: Remediation, On Target, and Enrichment. Each worksheet will include a mix of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, vocabulary matching, or open ended questions.

These worksheets can be downloaded as PDF files from three locations: from the game detail page, within the assignment builder, and from the "My Assignments" page.

From the Game Detail Page

When searching or browsing for an instructional game, click the game card to load the additional details page.

If a game has worksheets available, you will see the blue Worksheet button in the top information bar.

Within the Assignment Builder

Once you have added an instructional game to a new assignment or an existing assignment draft, you will see the Worksheet button below the game icon in your assignment content if worksheets are available for that game.

From the "My Assignments" Page

If an existing live, scheduled, draft, or completed assignments include an instructional game that offers worksheets, you can also locate these in the My Assignments page, located on the left side navigation menu.

On the Worksheets tab to the right of any of your live, scheduled, draft, or completed assignments, you can click Download to access any available handouts associated with any instructional game in your assignment. If an assignment has more than one instructional game with worksheets, you will see those separated by specific game.

Downloading the Worksheets

To support differentiated instruction, you can choose between one of three levels:

  • Remediation: Extra support for students who need additional practice

  • On Target: Grade-level practice aligned to the core concept

  • Enrichment: More challenging problems for advanced learners

Simply click the version that best fits the needs of your individual students or small groups.

This will download a .zip file to your computer's downloads folder.

This ZIP file will contain two PDF files - the student handout and the teacher key.

If needed, refer to these articles for help opening ZIP files on your PC, Mac, or Chromebook.

These files can then be opened from your computer and printed as needed to distribute to students. Note that all questions will come directly from the specific instructional game.
