Copying an assignment draft is useful for differentiation purposes. You may need to swap out games or assessments for different student groups, and you can do so without having to make a new assignment from scratch.

To make a copy of an assignment, click on the My Assignments tab to navigate to your Assignments page.

From your Assignments page, you can use the available search or filter options to find the assignment you want to copy.

Click on the three dots under the Actions column to the right of the assignment you want to copy, then click on the Duplicate option.

Then select Confirm to verify you would like to make a copy of the assignment.

The copied assignment will be added to your My Assignments page. It will contain the name of the original assignment plus the word '(Copy)'.

Your assignment will be in Draft status, so you can make changes and publish by clicking the Edit icon in the Actions column or by clicking the assignment name.

This will take you back to the assignment builder where you can change games and assessments as needed. It is also recommended that you rename the assignment when editing as well.

From here, you can choose Publish Now to assign the activities for students. If you are not quite ready to assign the activities to your students, be sure to choose Save Draft so you can edit and assign to your students at a later date.

NOTE: Once an assignment is Live, you are not able to make edits to any of the activities (games, assessments, and videos) within the assignment.
