After adding a child to your parent account, you are able to view and edit your child's account settings. To connect your Parent account to your child’s existing account, use the QR code provided by Legends of Learning from within your child's account. This step ensures seamless access to account management features.
To manage your child's account, click on the arrow located beside your child's name.
Next, select 'Edit Account'.
On this page, you can edit your child's first/last name, username, state, grade level, password, and purchase or manage their Awakening subscription. Additionally, you can retrieve your child’s username if needed.
Grade Level Changes
You can always change your child's starting grade level if you need to increase or decrease the level of difficulty for questions and games they encounter in Awakening.
The learning progression will always start one grade level below your selected grade. This allows for students to practice pre-requisite skills before tackling grade level content.
If the content it too easy for your child, we recommend setting your child's grade one grade level above their current grade.
Select a new starting level and click Save.
Updating Passwords
Security Guidelines
For security reasons, Legends of Learning support cannot provide login credentials or passwords directly.
Always use the Parent Portal to manage account details securely.
You can change your child's password at any time in the Password field. Click 'Change' to type in and confirm a new password for your child's account.
After selecting a new password click the 'Change Password' button.
A confirmation page will then be displayed confirming the password for your child has been updated successfully!
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Forgot Parent Portal Password: Use the "Forgot Password" feature on the Parent Portal login page to reset it.
No QR Code Available: Contact your child’s teacher or Legends of Learning support to obtain the QR code.
Unable to Log In After Reset: Double-check the username and password entered. Ensure there are no typos or extra spaces.
Managing Subscriptions
If your child does not have an Adventure Pass subscription, you can add the subscription from this page by clicking the Subscribe button. More instructions for adding an Adventure Pass subscription can be found here.
NOTE: You can remove any child from your Parent account that you no longer need under this section also. For more details on how to remove a child account, click here. If additional help is needed, contact Legends of Learning support for guidance. While they cannot provide login credentials, they can assist with account recovery and other issues.
