Students who have been assigned focus area(s) in Awakening will need to answer questions in Awakening in order to master the assigned topic(s). Questions associated with assigned focus area(s) are presented to students during all question-based activities in Awakening except the Quizzler.
Student mastery is calculated using the following rules:
Students must answer at least 15 questions in the assigned focus area in order for mastery to be assessed.
For each correct answer, students will receive 1 point towards their Mastery Score.
For each incorrect answer, students will lose 1 point from their Mastery Score.
Once students achieve a Mastery Score of 10, the assigned focus area is mastered.
NOTE:
Students will continue to receive questions corresponding to an assigned focus area until they have answered enough questions correctly to have mastered the topic.
If multiple topics have been assigned, students must master each in the order they have been assigned to progress to the next.
