From your Legends of Learning teacher account, you can download and print both parent letters and student login cards, making student login at school or at home a breeze! This information can be printed for your entire class, select students, or for individual students.
To get started with accessing student login instructions, navigate to your My Students page.
Accessing Login Instructions for All Students
From the Students page, select the ‘Download Login Instructions’ button at the top right of your student list. Three options will appear in pop up window.
Option 1: Download as Single PDF: This option allows you to download a PDF that contains a parent letter for each student. This choice is ideal for those who prefer a hard copy to distribute among parents.
Option 2: Download Individual PDFs: This option is best for those looking to share login details with parents electronically. By selecting this option, you will receive a ZIP file that contains each student letter as a separate PDF. This will allow you to attach each student's individual letter in an email to their parents.
Option 3: Download Single PDF: This option allows you to download a PDF of student login cards that can be printed, cut out, and distributed to students. This option is particularly useful for younger students who may need assistance with logging in. Login cards can be taped to student desks, devices, agendas, or take-home folders for easy access from anywhere!
After choosing your preferred option, a file will be downloaded containing the login information for your students. Once the download is complete, a confirmation will appear in the upper right corner of your screen.
You can locate the downloaded file within your Downloads Folder on your browser or computer. Both the parent letters and student cards will contain the specific login information for each student.
NOTES:
Passwords will only be visible on the printed letters or cards if you have specifically created or reset the student's password within your Legends of Learning account. Passwords generated through an integration, created by parents, or created by students themselves are encrypted and will not be visible when printed. This ensures the security and privacy of student login information.
If your school or district has a Premium License with Legends of Learning and has set up one of our available integrations for student login, the printed letter or card will provide specific instructions on how to access the site using that particular integration.
You can also access and print student login instructions directly from the Assignment Data page by selecting the 'How Students Access' button.
Accessing Login Instructions For Selected Students
If you'd like to download and print login instructions for a selected number of students, first select one or more students you wish you print login information for. Next, click on the three dots beside the Last Name section to access the download options.
